Keishamthong blast protested

Imphal: Meira Paibi group of Keishamthong Elangbam Leikai Leirak Macha, on Saturday staged a one-day sit-in protesting the bomb attack at the residential of Elangbam Brojendro on Thursday night.

There was no causality reported except some damages at the residence.

Brojendro is the managing director of Salai Holdings Private Limited.

Elangbam Kabita, wife of Brojendro told reporters that those unknown assailants should clarify on the attack.

A protestor, Indu asked, “What is the benefit of the bomb attack in the residential area. The assailants should hold a talk to remove any misunderstanding with Brojendro in a constructive manner.”

She appealed the government to book those culprits involved in the incident as the blast could have lost many lives.
