Imphal: The last of four missing persons was found dead on Saturday at Haotak Phailen Hill range, around 200 metres above the spot where the earlier three bodies were recovered.
The four went missing on Wednesday. Three of them were recovered on Thursday by security forces and deposited at RIMS morgue.
The body was identified as Ahanthem Dara Meitei, 56, son of late A. Apikchao Meitei of Wangoo Sabal Awang Leikai, Bishnupur district.
Oinam Romen Meitei, 45, son of Oinam Pishak Meitei of Akasoi Ward no. VII; Ahanthem Dara Meitei, 56, son of late A. Apikchao Meitei of Wangoo Sabal Awang Leikai; Thoudam Ibomcha Meitei, 53, son of late Th. Pangoi Meitei of Akasoi Ward no. VII and Thoudam Anand Meitei, 27, son of Th. Ibomcha Meitei of Akasoi Ward no. VII went missing at Haotak Phailen hill range.
Police said the villagers of Haotak at around 12:30 pm reported to Kumbi Police station that they found a body at the same hill range but around 200 metres above the spot where the three bodies were recovered earlier.
It is reported that bullet injuries were found on the back side of his left thigh and another on the right temple of his body. Kumbi police deposited the body at RIMS morgue on Saturday evening.
