It’s a shameful blunder of Manipur government, chief minister N. Biren Singh should resign, Supriya demanded.

How can you allow this happen? One hundred seventy-nine people died, 60k people displaced, 350 relief camps opened, 40k people still in camps, 3662 houses burnt, 321 religious places burnt, 161 companies of central forces deployed, 10k cases of rape and murder, she said. “Had it become so insensitive? This is the problem with the government,” she added.

There is a PIL filed in NIA court by Haokip of the United Kuki Liberation Front (UKLF). He said he had written a letter to the Union Home minister Amit Shah regarding a claim that UKLF and United People’s Front (a Kuki organisations) had helped BJP candidates win in 2017 Assembly elections as per arranged with other senior BJP leaders, she said.

Is this government anti-national? She asked.
