Arms, explosives recovered

Imphal: Security forces have recovered arms, explosives and ammunitions during search operations and area domination conducted in the fringe and vulnerable areas of Manipur on Friday.

Two pistols with one magazine each, two hand grenades, two IEDs weighing about 5 Kg, one empty cartridge of 7.62 mm ammunition, one wireless set, one empty shell of Pompi and one Magazine box were recovered from Imphal East district.

Grenade, five improvised heavy mortars, seven improvised heavy mortar bombs were recovered from Churachandpur district.
