Imphal: Manipur on Saturday recorded 16 new COVID-19 cases, taking the cumulative positive cases to 296.
The new cases were confirmed out of 39 samples. The positivity rate was 41 percent.
Of the new positive cases, seven belonged to Bishnupur district, six to Imphal West and three to Imphal East.
With the recovery of 13 COVID patients, the active cases tally moved to 66. Sixty-two of them remained in home isolation.
So far, 230 COVID-19 patients have recovered.
