Imphal: The Additional Director General of BSF Eastern Command, Ravi Gandhi, conducted a comprehensive review of the operational scenario and assessed the Force’s preparedness in the state.

ADG Gandhi landed at Tulihal International Airport, here on Thursday. He was received by Inspector General, BSF, Indra Deo Singh. Shortly after his arrival, the ADG, along with IG Singh, met with Kuldiep Singh, security advisor to the Manipur Government. He then proceeded to the Headquarters of Koirengei Sector BSF CI (Ops), where he conducted an in-depth review of ongoing operations and security deployment.

Gandhi visited several BSF deployment sites in Senapati and Kangpokpi districts. He interacted with commanders and personnel stationed at various locations and lauded their unwavering dedication and professionalism in maintaining law and order in the region. He encouraged them to continue discharging their duties with the highest level of commitment and zeal.

As part of his official engagements, Gandhi also held discussions with DGP Rajiv Singh at the police headquarters. Later, he met with the chief secretary of Manipur to further discuss the prevailing security landscape.

He met the governor at Raj Bhavan, where he briefed on the security situation in the state, the role of BSF personnel, and the overall operational preparedness of the force.
