Imphal: Manipur Police and Assam Rifles with the support of local populace rescued two individuals including a teenage girl at Khongjoi village in Chandel district of Manipur.
Two individuals including a teenage girl went missing from general area Charlong village in Chandel district, Manipur and were suspected to move towards Indo-Myanmar Border on June 22, the Assam Rifles said on Tuesday.
Demonstrating synergy a joint team Assam Rifles and Manipur Police carried out extensive search with local populace and found them at Khongjol village Chandel. The team used all methods to track the missing individuals, wherein use of drones was also endeavoured, it added.
