Imphal: Coordinating Committee on Manipur Integrity (Cocomi) on Thursday urged all MLAs, government employees, and the general public, to participate in a mass rally to save Manipur from external aggression in Imphal on Friday.
The rally aimed at addressing the ongoing challenges and unrest in the region.
The event will commence at THAU ground of Thangmeiband, here, at 9 am and conclude at Khuman Lampak Sports Complex main stadium.
Leirik Leima, coordinator of Cocomi women wing, speaking to reporters here said the state has been facing severe hardships for the past 14 months due to aggression by Kuki Narco-terrorists.
“Let’s take the responsibility to save Manipur,” Leima appealed.
There will be no casework imposed during the event, allowing participants to join without affecting their professional commitments, she clarified.
