Imphal: Manipur chief minister N. Biren Singh on Wednesday chaired a meeting with all political parties at his secretariat, here, on strengthening security and, law and order situation of the state.
“Chaired an all party meeting at my secretariat office today,” Biren posted on Facebook.
“Had a fruitful discussion to ensure the strengthening of security, law and order situation in the state. The concerted efforts of all stakeholders is crucial in achieving lasting peace and development in Manipur.”
Biren also posted, “Upon their arrival from Delhi, Chief Secretary Shri Vineet Joshi, Security Advisor Shri Kuldiep Singh, and DGP Shri Rajiv Singh called on me at my office to brief me on the security and administrative measures being implemented to restore peace in Manipur.”
“Under the guidance of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji and Hon’ble Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah Ji, the central government has started laying out plans to initiate dialogue with all stakeholders.”
