Imphal: A team of Manipur Police and Assam Rifles arrested two individuals suspected to be cadres of UNLF(K) on Wednesday during an operation in general area Viewland Zone III, Ukhrul district.
The militants have been identified as Huidrom Jitanjit Singh, 36, and Ningtham Oinam, 43, said Manipur Police Control Room on Thursday.
A sum of Rs 1,17,360 in cash, 40 live rounds, two walkie talkies, 20 grams of suspected heroine, one gold chain, one gold ring and other miscellaneous items were recovered from their possession, it added.
