7 apprehended for attacking civilians

Imphal: Manipur Police has apprehended seven persons involved in ‘attacking civilians in Imphal districts’, said Manipur Police on Monday.

Considering the recent attacks on civilians by unknown miscreants in and around Paona Bazar and Thangal Bazar areas, Manipur Police registered a case and investigation was started. During investigation, Manipur Police apprehended seven individuals who were involved in such incidents from various places in Imphal West and Imphal East districts, Manipur Police Control Room said.

The apprehended persons were Khumukcham Brainny Singh, 19, RK Ronish Singh, 22, and five children in conflict with law (CCL).

Further investigation is going on, police said.
