Imphal: Manipur Education minister Thounaojam Basanta Kumar Singh has been listed to contest in the Lok Sabha election from Inner Manipur Parliamentary Constituency on BJP ticket.
Basanta belongs to Bishnnupur district.
BJP had declared to support NPF candidate Kachui Timothy Zimik for Outer Manipur Parliamentary Constituency.
Timothy belongs to Sanakeithel village of Ukhrul district.
He had filed his nomination on Monday at Thoubal DC office.
