Imphal: Former vice-president of BJP Manipur Pradesh, Adim Pamei on Friday declared himself as intending BJP candidate for upcoming Outer Manipur Lok Sabha Constituency.
Adim Pamei looks forward to bring peace and harmony among the various ethnic communities.
He, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and as a senior member of state BJP, assured to bring a developmental change at his level best if he is given party ticket in the upcoming election.
Pamei assured to take initiatives to bring peace and tranquillity among the two main communities involved in the present crisis.
He said he will put his effort to bring development for Manipur and appealed for support to the public.
In the 2017 Manipur Legislative Assembly election, he was a BJP candidate representing for 54-Nungba Assembly Constituency.
For his contribution for the welfare of people Pamei was recognised by American University for Global Peace USA in 2022 and was awarded doctorate in Philosophy. Pamei was also conferred Nelson Mandela Peace Award in 2020.
