Actor Kaiku files nomination as MPP candidate to Lok Sabha

Imphal: Silver screen actor Rajkumar Somorendro Singh, popularly known as Kaiku, has filed his nomination as candidate of Manipur People’s Party (MPP) for the Inner Manipur Parliamentary Constituency Election on Monday at the office of the returning officer, Lamphelpat.

He was the first candidate to file nomination for the Inner Manipur Constituency seat.

Kaiku belongs to Thangmeiband Maisnam Leikai of Imphal West and he filed his nomination for the ensuing 18th Lok Sabha Elections at the office of the returning officer (RO), Inner Manipur Parliamentary Constituency.

As per the Election Notice issued on March 20, 2024, nomination papers may be delivered by a candidate or any of his proposers to the returning officer for No. 1-Inner Manipur Parliamentary Constituency or to assistant returning officer at the office of returning officer at Lamphelpat, Imphal between 11am and 3 pm on any day (other than public holiday) not later than March 27.
