Imphal: Manipur’s Bribasil Yanglem, who championed in the ICN Goa Super Show, Natural Body Building competition, participated by over 800 competitors, was warmly received at Imphal airport on Tuesday.
In men’s physique, Bribasil received ICN Pro Card and also the title of best posing in Classic Physique.
The ICN Goa Super Show, Natural Body Building competition was organised at Gigi Cavelossim Beach, Goa in December 8 to 10.
On reaching Imphal the family members of Bribasil and his colleague welcomed him with garlands.
Bribasil Yanglem is the son of Yanglem Brijen and Chanambam Sumati, of chingamakha Yanglem Leikai, Imphal West.
“I am glad in winning the overall title of the competition as well as received ICN Pro Card and won the title for best posing in Classic Physique,” the champ told reporters amid the joyful environment. “I received the ICN Pro Card, I will be representing India in Pro Show and will try hard to bring more achievement for Manipur as well as for the country.”
Bribasil is the second athlete who received ICN Pro Card after Mangal Arambam who received the same earlier.
He narrated the struggles he made while training for the competition including financial issues. He said he is confident to win more titles in future through hard work.
