Imphal: Forty-five handmade improvised explosive devices (IEDs) along with two different types of wires were detected and recovered at the area between Senam and Bongyang villages about 17 kms North from Tengnoupal Police station at around 9:15 am of Tuesday by a BSF convoy.
The convoy was heading towards Pallel for Moreh.
During follow up area sanitization by a team of TPL district police, state bomb squad team Imphal accompanied by 3 Assam Rifles Tengnoupal district, recovered the bombs.
