Imphal: Unknown miscreants set ablaze three trucks at Awang Sekmai Mayai Leikai, Imphal, reportedly coming to load cooking gas cylinder from Sekmai Bottling plant, Nongthombam on Saturday morning.
The incident took place at around 9.55 am. Some unknown miscreants intercepted the trucks and arsoned at Awang Sekmai Mayai Leikai, Imphal West.
The trucks bearing registration numbers MN06T-2239, MN01A-3900 and MN01-8128 reportedly belonged to Misao Gas Service.
Sekmai police station team rushed to the spot followed by Manipur Fire Service team. The fire service team put out the fire. Most parts of the trucks were damaged.
The reason for burning down the trucks was uncertain.
