Imphal: Covid-19 has claimed three lives and infected 268 more persons while 269 Covid patients were recovered in Manipur as reported on Wednesday.
All three victims belonged to Imphal East.
“Out of 3 deaths, 2 persons had co-morbidities and 1 of them had 1st doses of Covid vaccine,” Manipur Covid-19 common control room said.
The positive cases were from Imphal East (59), Imphal West (113), Thoubal (4), Bishnupur (8), Kakching (6), Ukhrul (11), Churachandpur (35), Chandel (7), Senapati (5), Tamenglong (4), Noney (3), Pherzawl (2), Kamjong (I) and CAPF (10).
The cumulative number of deaths is 1805. The cumulative number of positive cases is 1,16,134. The number of active cases is 3,164. The recovery rate is 95.72 percent, the control room said.
