Imphal: Manipur government on Sunday released schedule of opening of vegetable vendors, grocery shops and wholesalers in respect of districts where curfew has been imposed.
Local vegetable vendors can open their market during 7 am to 10 am for purchase by the locals on June 16, 19, 22, 25, and 28.
The vending shed should be at least 6 feet away from one another and should wear mask all the time.
Providing the same permitted days and time for shops only one out of three grocery shops of the total shops in one location shall be allowed to open on rotational basis.
If the shops or vendors located in congested rows (on major roads like NH both sides may open), then only alternate rows shall be allowed to open. Queue system should be adopted by all shops and vendors, the home department order said.
Whole sale shops of grocery and food essentials located in Thangal Bazaar and Masjid Road will be allowed to open from 7 am to noon.

Concerned deputy commissioners may issue movement passes for the retailer. Deputy commissioners and superintendents of police shall take necessary action to Implement the orders strictly, the order said.
