Imphal: Manipur on Sunday recorded 14 Covid-19 related death cases, 767 positive cases and 609 recovered cases.
In the past 24 hours, 767 persons were confirmed as new Covid-19 positive cases. They belonged to Imphal East (182), Imphal West (320), Thoubal (50), Bishnupur (38), Kakching (44), Ukhrul (17), Churachandpur (71), Chandel (4), Senapati (13), Tamenglong (9), ICamjong (3), Noney (2), Jiribam (5) and Kangpokpi (9), state Covid-19 common control room said.
All necessary medical precautionary measures like containment and contact tracing are in place, it added.
The 14 Covid-19 victims belonged to Imphal West (6), Imphal East (3), Churachandpur (2), Bishnupur (1), Kakching (1) and Thoubal (1).
The cumulative number of deaths was 688.
A total of 609 Covid-19 patients were discharged from CAPF (42), Home Isolation (466), RIMS (8), JNIMS (4), RD Wing (3), LANVA (5), BB (10), NSU (7), SHRI (15), CCC Lamboikhongnangkhong (19), Jivan Hospital (2), Thoubal (8), Bishnupur (3), Kakching (I), Ukhrul (3), Churachandpur (4), Chandel (1), Senapati (3), Tamenglong (3) and Jiribam (2).
The cumulative number of positive cases is 44,089. The number of active cases is 6534. The recovery rate is 83.61 percent, the control room said.
It said in 24 hours, a total of 1293 D-type oxygen cylinders and 542 B-type oxygen cylinders have been made available to different health institutions and health facilities of Manipur. District hospitals and government institutions have 126 D and 61B-type filled cylinders out of these Bishnupur (28D,OB), Chandel(18D,4B), Churachandpur (11D,4B), Senapati (20D,OB), Thoubal (17D,15B), Ukhrul (10D,OB), Tamenglong (7D,OB), Jiribam(20D,11B), Moreh(5D,6B), Mao(4D,6B), Kakching (0D,8B), Pherzawl (4D, 5B), Noney(2D,1B), Kamjong(3D,OB) and Kangpokpi (5D,1B).
Latest information says 345615 individuals have been vaccinated so far.
Air passengers who travelled to the state on May 21 by Indigo 6E-6358 in rows 25-31 are to inform the Common Covid Control Room 1800-345.3818 or respective district surveillance officers for further surveillance and necessary testing.
Out of 10 air passengers tested at Imphal airport one passenger was found positive on Sunday.
