Imphal: Teaching and non-teaching staff of Dhanamanjuri University, Manipur and its five constituent colleges has donated a sum of Rs 14 Lakh to Chief Minister’s Covid-19 Relief Fund.
This donated amount is the combined one day salary of the teaching and non-teaching staff of the university and the five constituent colleges.
“These contributions will be of great help in the prevailing Covid situation of Manipur,” chief minister N. Biren Singh writes on his Facebook wall.
“I extend my sincere gratitude to the teaching and non-teaching staff of Dhanamanjuri University and its 5 (five) constituent colleges for donating a sum of Rs 14 Lakh to Chief Minister’s Covid 19 Relief Fund,” he said.
