Imphal: Manipur chief minister N.Biren Singh has urged all doctors, nurses and paramedical staff to station at their respective posting places.
Biren also instructed the chief medical officers to ensure presence of state health care workers to him.
“Seeing the present Covid-19 pandemic situation, all doctors and nurses including the paramedical staffs are requested to station at their respective posting places. All CMOs should also report their presence to me directly, ” Biren writes on his Facebook wall.
On Tuesday one 29 years old man from Thoubal district expired while 94 persons from general population were confirmed as new Covid-19 positive cases.
The cumulative number of positive cases rose to 29,869 and the number of active cases to 385. The recovery rate was dropped to 97.44 percent.
