Imphal: Few days after a hand grenade blast injured one Assam Rifles jawan another hand grenade was found by the main gate of Assam Rifles (AR) transit camp located near Minuthong bridge on Friday morning.
The bomb was found unexploded at about 8.15 am on the southern side of the main gate of the camp about 10 meters away from the spot where one bomb was exploded on Wednesday late evening.
A team of Imphal West district police rushed at the spot. Another team of Manipur Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad came and recovered the bomb at about 9.40 am. At about 11.50 am the bomb was disposed at Langol forest range area.
Police suspected the incident to be related with the recent blast.
