RADHESHYAM ENCOURAGES STUDENTS TO NEVER STOP LEARNING

Imphal, November 16, 2017 (DIPR): Education Minister Thokchom Radheshyam Singh said a student should be most concern to never stop learning. The day a person stops learning, they are almost similar to being death, he added.

He was speaking as the chief guest of the inaugural of the MIT’s RESO 2017 at the Manipur Institute of Technology, Takyelpat today.

Life is all about management, he said adding that only proper managing can ensure one’s success. He said that one’s mistakes are lessons for life to be learnt to become better and rise. Mistakes can make one stronger and perfect, only if we learn from our mistakes, he added.

He lauded those organising the event and said every student should involve themselves in organising such event from where they can get a lot to learn. There is nothing permanent in this world except for the change that is taking place and learning to adapt to the change is very important, he added.

In today’s world, when technology has become such an inseparable part of the youth’s lives, we should lay much emphasis on technology and identify the relevant areas where we need to take interest, the Minister said adding that there is no need to learn or study the irrelevant sectors.

He motivated the students to focus on the relevant areas and move on towards their dream. Every student should have a dream to follow, the former IPS officer said.

Stressing on the role of students in uplifting the society, the Education Minister said the students are standing at a crucial juncture, so the students have to be positive at all times and be innovative.

The students should be thinking persons and have to be catalyst for positive changes by using technology in the best possible way to ensure that they lead a meaningful live and let others live a meaningful live.

Today’s event was also attended by Parliamentary Secretary   Leishangthem Susindro Meitei and Vice-Chancellor, Manipur University prof.Adya Prasad Pandey. Teachers and students of the institute also attended the function.
