    Elephant killed keepe

    Imphal, October 22: An elephant used in timber logging had killed its Mahut, elephant keeper on Friday.
    The incident took place on at Bakie Village also known as Yangkhullen in Senapati district. The incident took place when the elephant turn wild.
    Reports say the dead body of the Mahut has been taken to his native place in Assam.
    It has also been reported that villagers cannot move out and the children cannot go to school.
    A team of Manipur forest department and the Assam Wildlife Trust of India with tranquillizer gun is on the way to Yangkhullen Village to take control of the situation.
