Imphal, September 26: MLA Khumukcham Joykishan and a team of journalist today met ailing journalist Puyam Romeshwar of Khongman Mayai Leikai, who is serving the people as reporter at Hueiyen Lanpao daily.
Joykishan hearing the news of the ailing journalist went to his home to see his conditions and prayed for his return to normalcy. Later a journalist team too visited him.
Romeshwar was taken to Shija Hospital and Research Institute, Lamphel on Sunday as he was continuously bleeding through his tooth gums. After giving medical treatment through out whole night yesterday his bleeding was stopped and dicharged him today. The doctors told the family members to report him to the hospital on October 3 for further medical examination.
The disease in him is yet to identify He is lying at his home bed with the support of intravenus therapy. He is unable to speak and cannot take solid food at the moment.
Joykishan rendered a support of Rs. 5,000 to Romeshwar and the journalist team who visited handed him Rs. 5, 000 which was contributed by some of the journalist in the state.
