Imphal: Security forces have apprehended a couple with huge quantity of narcotics and contraband items from their residence at the Indo-Myanmar border town Moreh in Tengnoupal district of Manipur on Friday.
The couple were Rafique Kutti, 49, and his wife Zeenat, 52, Moreh.
Fom their possession WY tablets – 29.799 kg, Heroin Powder – 0.386 kg, Alprazolam – 7970 tablets, Caffeine – 5.266 kg, Crystal – 2.471 kg, Gold Dust – 8.299 kg, Rubber Stamps of 10 different types were recovered.
A case has been registered at Moreh Police station for further investigation, a police report said.
