Guardians, students, local bodies and clubs have drawn the attention of the authority to take up steps for the betterment of Samurou High School.
A meeting was held today at Samurou Kangjeibung Community hall to discuss over the grievances of the students in the school organised by the Kangleipak Students Association.
The meeting decided to form a school management committee; to appeal MLA Lukhoi to fulfil the promise he made on May 5 by June 1; to install biometrics attendance system; and to forbid the present headmistress from entering the school.
The promises made by the MLA were to transfer the headmistress; to add suitable number of teachers; to take action against the irresponsible teachers; and to supply appropriate infrastructures.
