Eastern Sporting Union thrashed Youth Welfare Club, Langthabal by 6-0 goals to moves into the final of the women category of ‘OORJA’ CAPF U-19 Talent Hunt Football Tournament 2017(Phase-1,Manipur) organised by IGAR(S) under the aegis of All India Police Sports Control Board at Main Sadium, Khuman Lampak.
The match proved to be a one sided affairs as Eastern Sporting Union, who had recently claimed the 1st Indian Women League title, faced little resistance from Youth Welfare team. Kashmina proved to be most sucessful striker as she blasted home four goals while Ng.Sweety and Ph.Anjali fetch one goal each, enroute to the final.
In the second semi final, Kangchup Road Youth Physical Sports Association drubbed Imphal West School team by 11-0 goals, to sails into the final as well.
With the victory, Kangchup Road Youth Physical Sports Association will meet Eastern Sporting Union in the final on Wednesday.
As for the Mens, Imphal East Club beat Imphal West Club by a solitary goal to moves into the final. The winning goal for Imphal East was scored by Kh.Tondonba in the 88 minute.
In the second semi final match, Thoubal Club defeated Imphal East District Football team by 5-1 goals to sails into the final. Y.Gopi struck a hattrick while S.Rozer and Th.Suraj chip in with a goal each. The lone goal for Imphal East was fetch by Reuben L.
