Imphal: Manipur chief minister N. Biren Singh inspected the progress of the ongoing construction of a monolith inside the premises of Saheed Minar, Bir Tikendrajit Park, Imphal.
The state Cabinet approved the construction of the monolith in memory of those exiled martyrs who fought valiantly against the mighty British forces, Biren said.
