Imphal: Loktak Battalion under the aegis of IGAR (South) interacted with Meira Phaibis of Kangvai and Moirang and distributed Covid relief items on Monday.
The event was organised to enhance the synergy between Assam Rifles and the local populace. During the event, important issues related to security, education and social upliftment were discussed.
Meira Paibis were also briefed about ongoing resurgence of Covid-19 and various precautions to be taken in order to restrict the spread of virus. Hand sanitizers, sterilised gloves and face masks were distributed during the event.
