RIMS OPD to indefinitely close down

Imphal: OPD services of Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), Imphal will be indefinitely closed down from Thursday.

It was resolved as per the meeting of all the clinical heads of departments, RIMS held on Wednesday at 3 pm at the office chamber of the medical superintendent in-charge, RIMS hospital and in view of the increasing number of Covid-19 cases and to give more spaces for treatment of Covid-19 paients, and also in view of the curfew imposed by the government of Manipur.

However, emergency services including emergency surgery, emergency C.S. of Obs. and Gynea cases and emergency radiation oncology cases shall remain functioning, an order issued by RIMS said.
