Imphal: The first meeting of the Syndicate of Dhanamanjuri University, Manipur was held on Monday at the conference hall of vice- chancellor, Dhanamanjuri University at 11.00 am under the chairmanship of M. Harekrishna, vice-chancellor, Dhanamanjuri University.
The syndicate meeting was attended by members- Dr Nivedita Lairenlakpam, registrar, DMU, Dr Rangeetabali Waikhom, director (UHE), K. Binku, finance officer, DMU, principals of constituent Colleges of DMU, Prof. Ganga Prasad Prasain, vice-chancellor, Tripura University, Prof. Ch. Ibohal Meitei, MU, Dr K. Biren Singh, retd. Principal, Md. Abdus Salam.
The meeting discussed on constitution of select/search committee for the appointment of regular vice-cancellor, DMU, adoption of RR for different posts and reservation policy, Internal Committee Report on “the right structuring of DMU” and adoption of the constitution of Students’ Union DMU.
