Lady nabbed with drug, gemstones at Indo-Myanmar border

Imphal: Security forces arrested one lady from Dalpati Road near Shiva Mandir under Moreh Police station at Indo-Myanmar border in Manipur on Friday.

The lady was identified as Chinngaivung, 30.

From her possession 60 packets containing suspected Brown Sugar weighing 27 grams (including the weight of packing material), 2000 Packing pipe packet, 15 pieces gemstones  and 47 packets containing suspected WY tablets weighing 971 grams.

A sum of Rs 3.5 lakh was also recovered from her possession, police said on Saturday.
