Imphal: Security Forces arrested an active cadre of NRFM (National Revolutionary Front of Manipur) on Tuesday from a location near the gate of Regional Institute of Medical Sciences, here.
The militant was identified as Heisnam James Singh alias Kumar, 33.
One two wheeler vehicle and one mobile were seized from his possession.
“He was involved in extortion of money from various places in Imphal area,” said Manipur Police Control Room.
