Pipe bomb blasted in imphal, another found

Imphal: A pipe bomb was blasted at the main gate of the quarter of one Individual at Langol Housing Complex, here, injuring one individual, on Thursday evening.

The bomb blasted while the injured person was trying to cut the pipe. The injured person was rushed to SHIJA Hospital, Langol.

Another pipe was also found near the spot and while inspected by BDDS team, presence of explosive was detected and hence exploded at a safer side at Langol, a police report said.
