Imphal: Manipur Police on Sunday nabbed two drug traffickers with Brown Sugar from Martyr’s Park Mao under Mao Police station, Senapati district of Manipur.
The duo were identified as Md Azad Khan, 24, son of Md. Oli of Lilong Ushoipokpi, Thoubal district and Khullakpam Yunush Khan, 25, son of Kh. Razao of Yairipok Tulihal Awang Leikai, Imphal East district.
They were arrested for possession of ‘suspected banned substance Brown Sugar’ in 14 soap cases weighing 172.08 grams.
A case has been registered at Mao Police Station in this regard and an investigation is ongoing, a police statement said.
