Imphal: As part of the World AIDS Day 2023 observation, college level face painting competition and flash mob were organised.
Face painting competition was held at Biramangol College Sawombung. The competition was jointly organised by Red Ribbon Club, NSS Units and YRC of the college and Manipur State AIDS Control Society.
M. Darvina, W. Shilhebi and B.T Angamlu of Biramangol College Sawombung won the 1st, 2nd and 3rd positions respectively. Luckyson of Liberal College, O. Aisha of NEILIT, Akampat and L. Hellyna of BM College won the consolation prizes.
After the competition, flash mob were also held at Sawombung Khunjao and Sawombung Bazar where 23 students and teachers participated. The mob were held for 10 minutes each in both the locations.
