One bunker removed at Bishnupur in Manipur

Imphal: Security forces removed one ‘unauthorized’ bunker at Santipur Area, Bishnupur district of Manipur on Sunday.

The security forces also conducted search operations in the fringe and vulnerable areas of Kakching and Thoubal districts.

During the last 24 hours, the situation in the state was tense but under control with sporadic incidents of congregation of protestors, Manipur Police Control Room, said.

Police detained 2260 persons in connection with violations in different districts of the state.

Te state Police department appeals to public ‘o return the ‘looted arms, ammunition and explosives’ to the police or nearest security forces immediately.
