Imphal: Committee Against Anti-social Elements, Kiyamgei Muslim has resolved four points resolution including permanent expelling from the locality of any individual found involved in drug trafficking.
The resolution was taken during a one-day public meeting cum anti-drug awareness campaign held at Kiyamgei Thong, Imphal East on Wednesday.
The meeting resolved that the three surrounding villages i.e. Kiyamgei Meitei, Kiyamgei Muslim and Basikhong will work together against anti-social activities in the area.
If any drug users are found involved in anti-social activities in the area then the drug trafficker who is involved in providing drugs must bear the consequences, it resolved.
The meeting resolved that CSOs, law enforcing agencies should work together to root out drugs from the state of Manipur for a better and drug free society.
The programme was attended by chairman PDA, L. Rameshor Meitei; advisor Committee Against Anti-Social Element Kiyamgei Muslim, Md Ahmed Raja and others.
