MACS organise 2nd integrated health camp

Imphal: Manipur State AIDS Control Society (MACS) organised a one-day Integrated Health Camp at Laphupat Tera High School on Wednesday.

A total of 236 individuals including the inmates of the relief camp opened at the school complex benefited from the camp.

This was the second Integrated Health Camp organised by Manipur State AIDS Control Society in collaboration with Directorate of Health, NHM, AYUSH, National TB Elimination Programme, National Viral hepatitis programme and District AIDS Prevention Control Committee, Imphal West.

Apart from the general health check-up, HIV and Syphilis screening, STI/RTI screening and treatment, TB screening, Hepatitis B and C screening, Hepatitis B vaccination was also conducted.

The third camp will be held on October 20 at Andro village, MACS authority said.
