Imphal: Manipur government has suspended a medical officer posted at CMO Pool, Tamenglong, repatriated from deputation at JNIMS, Porompat as Senior Resident, PMR department, for ‘posting/ sharing inappropriate comment on social media which is a conduct unbecoming of a government servant’.
The state Health department issued the suspension order on Wednesday as disciplinary action against the doctor.
He was put under suspension in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (1) of Rule 10 of the Central Civil Services (Classification, Control and Appeal) Rules, 1965, ‘with immediate effect’.
It was ordered that during the period the order shall remain in force, the headquarters of Dr. N. Brojendro Singh should be Imphal and he shall not leave the headquarters without obtaining the prior permission of the government.
