Imphal: Congress MLA Thokchom Lokeshwar along with seven others called on governor Anusuiya Uikey on Monday evening and submitted a memorandum with a proposal for setting up of pre-fabricated houses in Dolaithabi Bazar for Internally Displaced Persons of Ikou Village, Dolaithabi, Litanpokpi and Sadu Yengkhuman.
The governor assured possible assistance from her end and handed over four rice bags and one oil box to them during their visit.
The villagers of Ikou and Litanpokpi expressed their gratitude to the governor for her continuous help.
