Imphal: Chin Kuki Narco terrorists and 10 Kuki MLAs should not consider chief minister N. Biren Singh as a Meitei, but as chief minister of Manipur, said state unit president of Shiv Sena, M. Tombi on Thursday.
Biren has become the enemy of them, Tombi said.
Tombi was speaking to media at his state party office, here.
He said in 2017 most of the youths started becoming the victim of drugs, even the drug users and abusers arsoned police vehicle while going for drug raid in some areas of Manipur. After considering the future of then youths and present, ‘War on drug’ campaign was launched.
Under the campaign thousands of acres of poppy cultivations were destroyed. For those poppy cultivators the chief minister provided alternative means of livelihood by providing alternative crops to poppy cultivation, he added.
For the development of hills, Biren led government constructed Ima markets in various hill districts and roads even state cabinet meeting was conducted at hill districts. However, some illegal immigrants who had already attack Bangladesh, Assam and Myanmar instigate the people of hills against Biren led government. The present turmoil is instigated by those narco-terrorists, he claimed.
The narco-terrorists have killed innocent people of Manipur and created enmity among the people of Manipur. Those narco-terrorists should give the reason on the killing of those innocent people while sleeping and attacks to farmers, he questioned.
Will the narco-terrorists get their demand for Separate Administration by destroying the houses of innocent people? They should make their demand at proper forum through Parliament not by killing innocent people and by creating enmity among the people, Tombi said.
The central leaders should arrange a proper forum so that the two communities who are involved in the present turmoil. Chief ministers of neighbouring states and central leaders can discuss the present issue, he added.
