Imphal: A group of unknown miscreants reportedly gang raped a 13-years old minor girl in Imphal East district under the jurisdiction of Sagolmang police station on Thursday night.
Some unknown miscreants reportedly entered at the residence of the minor girl at around 11.30 pm.
After her bed ridden father was put into their custody, the unknown miscreants reportedly raped her.
The incident was reported to other family members by the victim after she ran out from the home crying.
One FIR under POCSO Act has been registered at Imphal East Women Police Station in connection with the incident.
The 13 years old minor has been conducted medical examination at JNIMS. District police has started its investigation to book the culprits.
