Imphal: Four Covid-19 patients who had co-morbidities passed away while 140 were confirmed positive for the contagion, in Manipur as on Saturday.
A total of 228 patients were recovered.
The death cases were from Imphal West (1), Thoubal (1) and Churachandpur (2).
Manipur Covid-19 common control room said one of the deaths was vaccinated with second dose of Covid vaccine.
The new positive cases belonged to Imphal East (20), Imphal West (61), Thoubal (3), Bishnupur (10), ICakching (2), Ukhrul (13), Churachandpur (7), Chandel (8), Senapati (2), Kamjong (2) ,Kangpokpi (7) and CAPF (5).
The cumulative number of deaths is 1830. The cumulative number of positive cases is 1,18,261. The number of active cases is 2,180. The recovery rate is 96.61 percent, the control room said.
The cumulative vaccine doses administered as on Friday was 1620774 (1st dose of 1213267 and 2nd dose of 407507).
