Imphal: Manipur government has discussed with Omega Seiki Pvt Ltd, Anglian Omega Group and Electric One Mobility Ltd on the feasibility of manufacturing E-vehicles in Manipur.
The meeting was held in an endeavour to put Manipur on E-vehicle manufacturing map, chief minister N. Biren Singh said in a post on his Facebook wall on Wednesday.
Given the strategic geographic advantage for easy import of raw materials from neighbouring countries and easy export of finished goods to fast growing South East Asian countries in the near future, many investors have started showing their interest for big ticket investments in Manipur, Biren said.
