Imphal: Seven Covid-19 patients died, 633 tested positive and 648 patients were recovered in 24 hours Manipur.
“Out of 7 deaths, 6 persons had co-morbidities and 2 of them had 1st doses of Covid vaccine,” Manipur Covid-19 common control room said on Tuesday.
They belonged to Imphal West (2), Imphal East (3), Bishnupur (1) and Tengnoupal ( I). The cumulative number of deaths was 1664.
The new positive cases were from Imphal East (133), Imphal West (269), Thoubal (30), Bishnupur (39), Kakching (23), Ulthrul (7), Churachandpur (66), Chandel (9), Senapati (19), Tamenglong (3), Tengnoupal (2), Noney (24), Pherzawl (3), Kamjong (1), Kangpokpi (1) and CAPF (4).
The positivity rate was 12.4 percent.
The recovered persons were discharged from home isolation (302), RIMS (13), JNIMS (7), CCCs (127) and CHICs (199).
The cumulative number of positive cases is 1,05,424. The number of active cases is 6,984. The recovery rate is 91.79 percent, the control room said.
In the last 24 hours, a total of 1509 D-type oxygen cylinders and 357 B-type oxygen cylinders have been made available to different health facilities of Manipur, it added.
As on Monday a cumulative vaccine doses administered was 1406729 (1st dose of 1153583 and 2nd dose of 253146).
