Imphal: A team of Narcotics and Affairs of Border police station on Wednesday night nabbed two drug smugglers from Kakching Lamkhai along National Highway-1.
The two accused were identified as Abdul Laskar, 34), son of Manir Uddin Lasker and Hathikal F.V. Cachar, Assam and Tachinul Amin Lasker, 23, son of Rafik Uddin Lasker, residents of Kachudaram Part-IV, Cachar district, Assam.
Heroin powder weighing 390 gm (approximately) contained in 30 soap cases were recovered.
One car, Toyota Etios, bearing registration number AS10A-4626 silver colour, three mobile phones, one Aadhaar card and one voter ID were also seized from their possession.
In this regard a case has been registered with NAB police station.
