Imphal: Education, fisheries and CADA minister S. Rajen Singh appealed to everyone to vaccinate against Covid-19 in order to defeat the surge of the pandemic.
He was speaking to reporters during a visit at Mayanglangjing Taning High School where a mass vaccination campaign was underway.
The most challenging deed of an individual is to save lives. Telecommunication is highly developed. But, it is frequently noticed that the medium is misused. Rumours spreading in regard to Covid-19 pandemic are seen frequently in social media, he added.
Media has a big role in spreading the awareness of Covid-19 and its appropriate behaviours. Immature persons sometimes create panic to the general masses by spreading wrong information about the disease and it’s very unfortunate for us, he said.
”We are preparing to fully vaccinate all those who are eligible to be vaccinated,” Rajen said and appealed to the public to fully cooperate and come out to be a part of the ongoing mass vaccination.
